About Us
Kids Learning Academy was established and associated in the year 1998 by Symon and Jennifer in San Rafael, California. This school for kids was basically started as an independe3nt non-profit educational institution comprising middle and elementary school levels with students of 5-14 years of age. The preschool academy was planned to meet the needs of a large number of academically talented students of California in a enriching and supportive environment. The main focus of this organization was to look after the educational needs of the gifted kids.

Symon, a U.S Navy student, retired from his job of nuclear engineering in an early age to help his wife Jennifer's dream of creating an academy for the gifted kids come true. Symon's previous experiences helped in managing the facilities and finances of the school. He engaged his knowledge of the nuclear engineering in teaching the middle school students.

With 17 years of teaching experience with the gifted students, Jennifer has become a master teacher. She has obtained a B.S degree in Primary Education with minors in Music and arts from the William Jewell College of Missouri, then a master's degree in Gifted Education from Maryland's Johns Hopkins University. Her growing relationship with the Johns Hopkins's Center for Talented Youth, are active in recognizing and serving the needs of the gifted students. The kids learning academy offering various opportunities to the students. Jennifer was well known for the deep impact on the student development with encouraging her students in engaging and initiating intellectual curiosity. Jennifer's projection in the stream of gifted education has resulted in a great demand in the implementation and design programs specially for the gifted.

The mission of kids learning academy are mentioned below:

  • Maximum 12 students in each class in the multi-age groupings to enhance learning styles and learning rates.
  • A friendly environment which realizes and encourages excellence, offers intellectual challenge and stimulation
  • An integrated and enriched curriculum which increases and values talents, intellectual abilities, physical development, decision making and creativity.
  • A nurturing and safe atmosphere where the kids can take risks and explore the sense of personal and self responsibility, and can grow sound moral and social behaviors
  • A resourceful, enthusiastic faculty, who are dedicated to the total development of every kid's unique abilities
